Engaged Feedback Workshop - AFS Future Leaders of Metalcasting

  • 725 Blue Harbor Drive Sheboygan, WI, 53081 (map)

This is a private non profit training event.

The avoidance of challenging conversations, especially feedback about leadership, performance and opportunities for improvement is the #1 cultural issue inside organizations today.

Becoming a leader and organization who prioritizes feedback requires intention and courage. It's a mindset. It's not enough to say you give feedback - organizations need a feedback approach and a language that aligns everyone from the shop floor to the executive suite.

Our Engaged Feedback skills integration workshop offers attendees a chance to learn the skills that enable individuals to build the foundation for which important and courageous conversations can happen - but not without an opportunity to practice. Our approach is simple - if you cannot name and describe it, and effectively talk about it without blaming and passing the buck, you cannot resolve it or improve it.

This hands-on workshop tackles a real situation that you're up against in real-time with real people who have knowledge of your processes - your peers.

With experience across business sectors and a background in operational leadership and complex problem-solving, Sabrina L. Moon brings a unique skill set to her process of developing leaders. She facilitates/trains content and then prepares the participants to practice what they have learned. This approach embeds the participant's learning of the Engaged Feedback steps, builds confidence, and improves communication skills. Her method also builds emotional regulation stamina when conversations get uncomfortable with an approach that leverages non-defensive language techniques.
